The Villages is the largest golf cart community in the world: roughly 85,000 golf carts across three counties, more than 100 miles of multi-modal paths, and a population that uses the cart the way the rest of the country uses a car. That creates a specific problem the traditional shop model handles badly: when your cart is broken, you have no easy way to get it to a shop. You’d need a trailer, a hitch, and a truck, three things a lot of Villages households gave up on purpose.

So we flipped it. The truck comes to you, loaded with the parts that fix most Villages carts on the first visit: battery sets, solenoids, brake shoes, tires, belts, and chargers. Describe the symptom when you book and the tech arrives prepared. The service call fee covers the trip and the on-site diagnostic, and it’s applied toward the repair when you approve the work.

What we are, and what we’re not

We’re straight about this because the industry often isn’t.

We are an independent repair service. The technicians who take these jobs work on all major brands (Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, ICON, and Evolution) gas and electric, lead-acid and lithium. They’re local independents, so ask whoever comes out for proof of insurance before work starts.

We are not an authorized dealer, factory service center, or warranty agent for any manufacturer. Nobody who comes out will claim “factory certification” on our behalf, and it isn’t needed for out-of-warranty repair. If your cart is new enough that the failure is a warranty item, we’ll tell you to call your selling dealer. That’s cheaper for you than paying us, and we’d rather earn the next fifteen years of your cart’s maintenance than one dishonest invoice.

The same honesty applies to repair recommendations. A cart that won’t charge gets the charger and charge port tested before anyone quotes a battery pack. A load test tells us whether you need six new batteries or one. And when a repair costs more than an old cart is worth, we say so.
